About Chris
Chris creates illustrated children’s books that communicate the truth of Jesus’s unconditional love for families. Her YOU ARE MORE Christian Children’s Book series emphasizes that God gives us his identity and purpose as his dearly loved children. Chris lives in Georgetown, TX with her husband Allan and whatever birds they can attract to their backyard feeders.
When I became a parent, I looked for Christian resources to parent and for books that would give my kids comfort in the love of Jesus. But so often, I noticed that the focus was on raising morally upright children. I longed for parents and children to have Bible story books and Christian literature that clearly articulated what God’s Word shows: the immense power of God’s saving love in Jesus. I witnessed in my own children that God’s love for them, not his rules, is what actually motivated them to want to do the right thing.
