O Jesus, you are King of kings. You rule over all seen and unseen. I repent of holding to anything but you as my Savior. Free me from fixing my thoughts and energies on hurts, worries, and fears. Help me by your Spirit to set you apart as my only One True God.

Help me to live a life based on the reality of the hope you died to give me dear Jesus. Let my focus not be on myself but on the needs of my family, friends, and people you put in my life. Let my words be full of your truth and grace.
