The Truth And Love Of The Lord Is In All Of Us

Know that the LORD is God.

It is he who made us, and we are his;

We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Psalm 100:3

Dear Jesus, Thank you for releasing me from thinking I have to be a little god in my world.  So often I catch myself trying to define you, to make you meet my expectations for who you are. But you are God. You made me in your image. Your Words in the Bible tell me who you are and who I am in you.

Your love for me is breathtaking! You made me. I am yours. You care for me as a shepherd cares for his sheep. And you make me part of your people. Our unity is not in race or politics or power or wealth. It is in the truth that your blood that died for us lives in every believer in you.

Let every precious thought in this verse settle my anxious thoughts today. Give me opportunities to share these truths with my family and friends. Amen.
