God Ensures Our Victory

“Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin and the power of is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15: 55-57

This message from God gives me so much comfort when I start living in the land of “what ifs”.

God tells us that our victory does not depend on everything in our life going the way we want it. Our victory is a done deal – on the cross. God has given us victory over death itself!! That’s so much larger than what we let control our heart with fear and worry.

Jesus became our sin and gave us his holiness in its place. God wants us to raise our children in victory, not in fear or what if’s. They need to know that no matter what their day brings, they have won!

Daily Prayer:
O Jesus, Thank you for your words of truth as we live with so many lies surrounding us. Give our family strength and joy in your victory. Help us to find people this week who cower in fear and give them your message that saves. Amen.
