Knowing God’s Love Is The Greatest Gift Of The Season

God wants to give us a gift this Christmas that will make even our favorite gift this year feel small in comparison. He wants to fill our hearts and minds with the reality of his presence—his endless love for us, his forgiveness, and his peace in this life and forever.

God wants us to align our mindset and heart’s desires with the status he has already given us when he brought us to faith in his Son, Jesus. That is his gift for us because we are his dearly loved children, raised with him from death to life. Even though our bodies die, our souls live forever with the One who loves us the most and the deepest. In Heaven, no evil, stress, injustice, pain, death, or sorrow will ever touch us again.

We are safe in Jesus. 

A Daily Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for saving me and making me your child. I repent for the many times I process life without trusting you. I know it hurts the people around me. Set my mental energy and the desires of my heart to live with joyful hope of the riches of your mercy that I have in you now and in heaven to come. Give me opportunities to share the joy of salvation with those in my life today. Amen.
