Teach Children The Way To God Through Jesus

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”

John 14:6

I have managed to burn out three car engines T far because I forgot to change the oil. Not following the way to take care of my car was ignoring the truth. Without regular oil changes, there is no life for the car. If following the way, the truth and the life is important for a car, how much more important is it for our souls.

The night before Jesus gave up his life on the cross for us, he told his disciples how they could be with him forever. His death and resurrection made the way for us sinners to be completely forgiven of all our sins and given new, eternal life in him. Only through faith in the Son of Gods’ gift of salvation can we be with the Father forever. Jesus is the Way.  Jesus is the Truth.  Jesus is life. 

Our children grow up in a world that tells them truth is whatever they want it to be.  The world hates Jesus. The devil wants to destroy our children’s body and soul. It is not okay to let children decide for themselves what path they will follow to God. Jesus wants our children to know he loves them without any conditions. He gave them a way to live with him now and forever as a free gift! What a relief for us to know that at the end of the day when we have hurt others and been hurt by others that we are completely and safely loved now and forever by God himself!

A Daily Prayer:
O Jesus, with all the distractions of life, keep me focused on teaching my children that you love them so much that you died to be with them forever. Amen.
