We are Safe in Jesus

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.
Psalm 57:1

God knew when he inspired David to write these words that we would be reading them today. He knew the troubles that we will be facing today.

We realize our own sins as we react to stress. We appreciate how much we depend on God’s mercy in Jesus. Only God is where our soul can find refuge till the disaster of life on this earth passes.

A Daily Prayer:
O Jesus, you are the refuge God has given us. You are the mercy God has shown us. You alone are the one we cling to in this disaster. Give our families strength and peace in your saving love for them. Amen.
