What Jesus Did to be with You

Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. Hebrews 2:11

God has given me a lot to make me feel loved by him like time with family and friends and long walks in his beautiful creation. But nothing that makes me feel blessed can even touch what he tells me in this verse. It blows my mind that Jesus made me holy so he could be my brother. And he is not ashamed to call me brother. I would at first think, well he doesn’t know me very well. But he does. Better than I know myself. That fact tells me that his love for me is totally unconditional.

The reality is that Jesus died to have me and my family with him and with every believer.
