Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

When God displays his beauty in the sun rising on a beach, I have to stop and just let who he is soak in. This verse is like that moment on the beach. The truth that God is God rescues my heart from the chaos of all the emotions and opinions these days. I don’t have to figure everything out. I don’t have to fix everything. That’s God’s job.

When God stills me with the truth that he is God, I am free to love people instead of trying to control them.

What actions do you take to see God working in your life?

A daily prayer:
O God, keep my attention on who you are and what you have done for me today. Replace my thirst to want to figure out all the global movements that cause fear with a thirst to know you better in your Word. Increase my trust in your voice that gives real truth and real grace. Amen.
