Help Your Children Find The True Way Home Through Jesus' Endless Love
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!”
And let the one who hears echo, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Revelation 22:17,20
I have a friend who shared with me how comforting it was for her to pray and think of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and his gift of heaven to come when she had severe pain. These verses describe what my friend and all believers experience.
We are not alone.
We are one bride of the King of kings! His love for us is displayed on the cross. Jesus became flesh and came to Earth to die and rise to be with us now and forever!
His Spirit lives in us. He knows our hearts. He knows those dark moments of agony that no other person can walk through. But he is right there with us!
He hears our heart cry and cries with us to Jesus, “Come!”
The Spirit fills his church with faith in Jesus and a certain hope that we soon will be together in Heaven where death and sorrow and pain can no longer touch us. He gives us such security in his love that we can be honest about our struggles and salvation in Jesus. God hears our prayers for those who do not know Jesus yet, and his same Spirit works through his Word to give them the same living water we drink from.
A Daily Prayer:
Dear Jesus, I do not deserve your deep and endless love for me. But I know it is true by your Word and by your Spirit. Help us to know our spiritual thirst is only quenched by the living water of you. Give me opportunities to remind my family and friends of your love for them, even in their darkest times. Amen.
